The school was established in 2005 under the efforts of member of the community of Chalinze ward that inspired Government attention for extension for economic support hence the fruitful mission of establishment of very schools at nearby localities to provide education for their children, subsequently the government joined hands to recognize their efforts.

The school is a co- education registeredwith Ministry of education under registration NO. S.1784. Offering studies in science, information and computer studies and social science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics in science line and civics, history, geography, Kiswahili and English in line of social science. As a matter of policy the school belongs to government but in actual fact it is the product of Chalinze community members who played parting the establishment and still play part in its development.

Chalinze Secondart School has many strengths as a school community: a rigorous academic curriculum, experienced and devoted faculty members, strong parent support networks, excellent facilities and a belief in a balanced educational program. Our greatest strength, however, is our commitment to the individuality of each child we serve. The recognition of each child’s unique self guides all that we do, and is central to our ability to reach our mission.
